so just a question really. i would love to get perspective on REAL people. How soon after your loss did you get pregnant again?

I wasn't planning to, but I got pregnant right after my MC in January next cycle.

My last mc was at 7 w, I just started bleeding and then got worse. No D&C they just gave me some pills and I was bleeding for almost 2 weeks. The doctor they sent me to ( I worked onboard a cruise ship) was also an infertility expert and he said to me: I am completely sure that your recurrent mcs are v=because you don't produce enough progesterone.

So when I fel pregnant again I resigned and flew home immediately, went to a private doctor and asked for progesterone suplements, she also told me to take a baby aspirin every day until I was 38 weeks and well here we are

i had a blighted ovum in may but they found out on june 21st took misoprostol and the bleeding started on the 28th and i was 3 days late on period in july negative test then af showed and now i am pregnant found out augst 30th

and i was 5w4d

I had an ectopic miscarriage at 5weeks 6 days on February 19th, 2012. I was given two shots of Methotrexate to clear everything out. We were advised to wait 3 cycles before trying again.

We got our BFP immediately after our first time back on the TTC wagon. We are now 22 weeks with a wonderful little girl who will be arriving around Valentine's. We feel very blessed that we were able to conceive before our first due date and will actually be giving birth around a very sad anniversary.

Hi! I had an ectopic pregnancy in Nov 2011, then pregnant in June 2012. I had a MMC and had a D&C on Aug 27, I was supposed to be 9 weeks and only measured 6w1d with no heartbeat. I am now pregnant with no AF since MC. I think I am about 5 weeks. We weren't trying as we only DTD twice. I haven't made an appt yet with the DR yet as I don't want all that early testing done because it just stressed me out last time. I will prob go in end of next week cause I know they'll schedule an ultrasound and I want to be pass the 6 week mark. Dr advised to wait two cycles so I am really scared of her reaction. Yikes, I feel like a little kid that's gonna get yelled at. Lol

I completely understand this! Lol. my doctor told me to wait to, at least two cycles, but I don't feel that is necissary or right for us. Ad I can't see asking my husband to wear a condom especially since we both hate them and we want another baby so badly. Since my MC on sept 4th, we waited till my initial bleeding stopped befor having sex of course, but since then we have definitely had a lot of sex. I started bleeding again about 10 days ago as my hcg levels hadn't completely dropped all the way down, but we are having sex anyway-despite the bleeding. Sorry if TMI. I have no idea if or when I will be ovulating. I just want another baby so badly. And as soon as possible.

My first m/c was natural at nearly 8 weeks and I got pregnant on my 3rd cycle. I followed my OBs reccomendation to not try till after I got AF back. With my second it was a mmc at 9 weeks with a D&C later that week and my OB did m/c testing and didn't want me to try until the results came back, but I got pregnant on my 3rd cycle of trying again. Three seems to be the charm for me.

Runnergrl: have you tried using OPK's? You have two kids? I have 3 boys ages 15, 7 and 4 next month. I'm so scared about this pregnancy. I just want everything to be ok! My first pregnancy was a MC, then I had my 3 boys, then the ectopic and MC again. I'm praying this one is ok!

I've been doing OPK's. I got positives about two weeks after my MC, we had sex then, and again got a positive about 5 days later. Had sex again then and my hcg was between 40-70 at the time. Currently, I've been bleeding for 12 days, so I will start taking OPK's again as soon as the bleeding stops. My body is still messed up. It's been 5 weeks. I'm ready to go again.

thanks... I would like to try straight away too, but my body isnt cooperating. It wont stop bleeding! did you have a D&C?

I MC at 9 weeks at the end of July.

Bled for about 2 weeks and then got my BFP 3 weeks after that on Aug 29th and here I am.

The EPU lady really told me off for not using protection. But my GP and midwife said it was fine. And all seems to be going OK so far. I've got passed the point I MC last time and haven't had any bad signs at all. Xxx

I had a natural miscarriage at 6 weeks at the end of August, My cycles are 31 days, I bled heavily for 4/5 days but then stopped, We started trying again the week after and here we are 5 weeks pregnant again, I felt really poorly last time as soon as we found out we were pregnany, All my tests were faint up until the miscarriage (I'm a POAS obsessive!) I had a UTI then a kidney infection, but I feel great this time and all my tests have been super dark like they were with my son!
After my miscarriage, My doctor told me to go home, wait for the bleeding to stop and start trying again straight away as women are extra fertile after a m/c and she was sure she's see me in a month or two, She was right ...X

We lost our little girl at 11 weeks and I had a D&C. 3 months later I was pregnant again. Dr didn't say anything about waiting but then again he also knew that hubby was working away. We did get pregnant as soon as hubby got home.
