...oops, I mean "off" a mattress!

Hi all,

My daughter was sick in bed today. The mattress protector did it's job for the most part but one side of the mattress stinks of vomit (heave). We've got her sleeping in the travel cot temporarily.

Anyone know how to clean vomit and the smell of vomit from a mattress without ruining it? We may just end up paying someone to do it for us but would rather save the money if we can.

Thank you!

sorry no help really, i would think of getting it cleaned or airing it for a few days

this is why we got a purflo mattress https://www.purflo.com/acatalog/PurFlo_Cot_Bed_Mattress.html

Eden was sick in her cot lastnight and it just runs through then the cover comes of the hollow frame to wash...

we used to just wipe all the sick off, they spray with anti-bacterial spray, air it if possible - but if we were in a hurry to get it back on we used to dry it with the hair dryer

Thank you both. Picked up some antibacterial spray today so we'll see how we get on.
