how to insert a ticker for dummies!

i would love to put a ticker on my profile but am a bit of a computer dunce!

i have absolutely no idea how to do it or where to go to set it up. can someone explain it to me in terms a 6yr old would understand please

If you use a site such as lilypie you choose the type of ticker you are wanting, type in your information, it will then come up with different types of codes, you will want to pick the one that says UBBCode and BB Code, come back to this site and click user CP it will have a link that says edit signature click on that and copy and paste the code and you should have a signature
