How to know I found a good cake maker

I found someone the cakes on her website and Facebook page look great she is reasonable. But how do I know my cake will be good? Is there anythings to ask or to look out for?

Willingness to listen to what you want.
See if you can talk to existing customers.
You should also be able to meet up and sample the cakes etc.

A respectable cake maker should be fully insured and have a star rating from the local council, they should also be able to set up a consultation where you can sample the cake.

Samples, photos, good reputation. Try posting on a local selling site to serif anyone would reccommend any cake makers and see if her name pops up xx

Look for recommendation/reviews, quality of pictures etc.
Any decent cake maker will prove samples when giving a private consultation xx
