How to see the baby in the car?

I never felt the need for one with either of my kids to be honest, babies sleep most the time in the car! Anything that can become loose is considered a hazard too!
If in the U.K., you need to inform your insurance company if you plan on switching the air bags off (all if you're driving for the first 6 weeks after section) and obviously if you've switched them off, have an accident and haven't informed them, your insurance is worthless!! Xx

where did you find this info hun? since my airbag button only turns passenger one off specfically for infant seats.. and can easily be switched back on as and when needed? x

Sorry for delay chick, net probs! My friend was told by her insurance company when she called them to find out about their c section rules (before she had baby) Think she said it's because the airbag is a safety feature and by switching it off you're reducing the safety of your car passengers etc think maybe if you usually have baby in there, you may forget about putting it back on if you have someone else sat there etc and if you then crashed and airbag didn't go off etc ......obviously each insurance company is prob different too! Also think that maybe it's classed as modifying your car, which you are meant to tell them too lol xx my mate used to sit in back of car with baby while hubby drove her everywhere!! Xx

Cheers Hun ill have to ring mine and ask. OH can't drive my car cos he's too expensive to insure lol. So I have to drive, gonna be gutted if I end up with section & ill be going out with LO without OH a lot. Thanks for the info xx
