we are going away to a b and b next week and will need to sterilise LO bottles, my OH said we could use large freezer bags and add a tablet as we won't have a microwave to use, what does everyone else do?
I think as long as you wash them well with hot soapy water unless your child has immune problems she'll be fine. You may call and ask the B and B if they have a microwave you can borrow if it's that much of a worry.
boots do travel steriliser bags...essentially there just big freezer bags with a pull string and 2 tablets..i think there £7.99, but i dont see why you couldnt do what your OH said as its the same thing..buy a freezer bag and milton tablets wala!! travel steriliser lol
When we travelled the 1st time we used milton tablets, but Omar got allegric to them (he got a rash around his mouth). The next time we took anti bacterial washing liquid & we used hot water.
I just got a "travel cold water/microwave sterilizer" from Asda......but any tupperwear tub would do. I use milton tablets and cold water. I just had a 30 hour flight to cope with......it worked a treat for doing the bottles. I have to say, sterilizing tablets say not to rinse after...but they STINK of bleach so i always rinse the bottles out in boiling water after
