So I started a freezer stash early on. I've labeled each freezer storage bag with the number of ounces, but I never thought to write it down/tally it up.

I'd really like to know how much I have in stock so if there ever comes a time where I need to use it, I'd like to know how much I have available.

Is there a (safe) way that I can take it out of the freezer to tally up or would that just put too much risk in it heating warming up too much to re-freeze? Am I just stuck with tallying as I go forward? I'm kicking myself for not thinking about this sooner!

I have a spreadsheet on my iPhone (using the apple numbers app) which syncs to my computer.

Are each bag approx the same size? If so, just approximate it for now and start tallying future bags.

The majority are between 2 - 2.75 oz. I have some 3-4 ounces (just a few - but am trying to stick to 2-3 oz).

I can definitely do that for a ball park figure!
