How would you pronounce Ronin?

OH & I have finally agreed on a name we like if baby is a boy. The only problem I have with it is how it's perceived as I think he'll end up being called something totally different to what we have in mind.

So, Ronin. How would you pronounce it?

Id say it like Ro.nin but when you announce his birth you can easily just say how you wish it to be pronounced, or spell it differently. I have this issue with Xavier, pronounced X.a.vyer not zavier so makes me want to spell it Xzavier

I would say it as everyone else would, Row-Nin, but I prefer the Ronan spelling as I think he'll be forever correcting everyone otherwise!

I prefer Ronan as well. Like a pp said, otherwise he will have to spell it to everyone his whole life. I spell Katie differently (Kaity) and while I'm used to it, it is annoying having to always spell it out to people
