HSG nxt Wed!!

Thanks a lot again for sending me luck -I think it helped.

Just back from the HsG and it was not bad at all!! Its like the usual pap smear. Doc said everything looked clear (phew!).

So anyone else going in soon...no worries, its quite alright. Of course, i do feel violated

I am wearing a pad right now 'cause i can still feel a lil something trickling out (i think its the dye) and I took a painkiller an hour before.

Hi Keya, So glad it went ok for you. I think the anticipation of the procedure (and the results of course) are worse than actuallyhaving it done!

Do you have a plan now you know your tubes are clear?

Hey peeps

Hope you don't mind me joining in, I'm waiting for my 1st fs app so I'm hoping I will be having a hsg sometime soon, as I was sent all the info about hsg's with the app letter, although it does say you need to call in on cd1 or cd2 as it's needs to be done by cd10 so not sure what waiting list there is - I'm cycle day 19 when I go for my app so I'm really hoping they will give me a hsg asap but noted above that sometimes there's a long wait

Cause I'm guessing until I have the hsg I won't be given metformin or anything like that ?

The anticipation is truly hard. My heart was pounding away. And the doc came 45 min late, so I was sitting there half naked in the hospital gown.....oh well.

Follow away with the blog!! and I'll do the same. Though I'm a terrible blogger. I have like 3 posts so far

My goodness, I was so nervous sitting outside and waiting! My husband tried to make small talk but I asked him, politely, if he would mind being quiet as I couldnt handle talking right now!!! Once I was in and getting changed it was much better!!! The anticipation sucks!! lol

Have you asked for the time off yet babycarey?

Princess - 4 months does seem a long time. I hope it goes quickly. Its amazing the difference across the country. I had the FS appointment on the tuesday and was told to ring the x-ray department in the morning to see if they can fit me in that cycle. I was lucky and had it on the thursday. If your wait is that long would consider private, but im afraid I cant help you with hw much that might be. I found a thread on another website that might help though here

I did mention it at work!
I got a v frosty response!! But i said i had to go! She tried to quiz me,so i said lady problems!! That cant b put off any longer!!
Was embarrassed!! She then said ok i guess you have to go then!
I piped up well i wasnt gonna cancel it after waitin for it!! COW!!!
So my app is on Wed at 11.30am,bit nervous but excited to know i will b a bit wiser afterwards! Woo hoo

What can i say?
It went real well!!!
HONESTLY!!!!!
I was taken a bit later than my time but it went without a glitch & most importantly without pain!!
I cudnt get over it!!! I was expectin REAL pain lol,but nothing!
It was over and done within mins! She prepaed me and waited for doc to come in and admin the dye,he came in introduced himself briefly explained what was gonna happen,and nxt thing it was over!!lol
I was dissappointed i didnt get to see my bits n pieces on the BIG screen so to speak ;-))
I really dont know why i had worked myself up so much about it now?
He said alls ok,womb ok and tubes fine!!So kinda relieved and kinda left thinking so what else is the bloody problem then?? ??
Hes reportin bk to my FS and i will hear frm him shortly
So im wishing my life away again!! Roll on Nov til i get on my Clomid

Yes bk to waiting!!
Well he told me at our last app i was to take 100mg Clomid when/if my period comes in November,he has given me enough for 6months then we will see what happens duin that time,he said sometimes when you have the procedure it makes you a bit more lucky?Who knows?lol
Im really hopin i wont need it after then,would love to get my BFP for Xmas!
But time will tell i guess?

Ohh how exciting !! You should be feeling very pleased with yourself, to come this far and a great result after a hsg although still frustrating as your not pregnant yet
you may be pregnant very soon !

Is it true that when you get it done it leaves you extra fertile? Even when the dye ran thru ok? Im hopin so!!lol
Well heres to our BFP's this Xmas!! I cudnt ask for a better pressie TBH!
My FS said he didnt want to test my Hubbys sperm as we had conceived so easliy and hadnt a problem in the past?
Heres hopin this is a lovely new beginning
