HSG test and period following?

Hi everyone. I had an HSG test on the 27th and just started my period on the 13th. It is very heavy with lots of clots some the size of a half dollar. I am going through a super tampon in 1.5 hours. Just wondering id anyone else had this happen?

Hope you are ok....
It might just be getting rid of debris after hsg
But also some months can be so different to others : ((

I had the hsg don't really recall the period after it but I do get cycles that are worse than others.

I know when I went to Disney world we did a lot of walking and it got so heavy and clotted that I was changing every 1 if not less. I have started taking metformin so maybe just a combo of all of it.
