I recently had a lap and dye...the 'dye' part is the hsg, to check that your tubes are open. The lap refers to the surgery aspect, checking for endometriosis. So I imagine for the hsg you weren't under a general? And that they just injected the dye? I'm guessing they didn't give you a lap and dye because there is no risk of endo for you
Can I just ask u a quick question please?
Ive just been booked in for a HSG. Did u get your all clear result on the day or did u have to wait for the result?

The doctor doing my test told me he was 99% sure right after the procedure that everything was clear but he would know for sure after looking at it more closely and that my doctor would get the results the next business day.
Hey, I had a HSG just over a year ago, got the all clear, then I had a lap and dye in Sept, uncovered a choc cyst on my right ovary which they removed. HSG only checks your tubes are open, lap is surgery.
