HSG when during cycle?

My doctor is going to have me get the HSG test done soon, not sure when, I have to call tomorrow, and I was wondering when during the cycle do you get it done and if I should start my provera so I can get my AF.

Not certain about the provera but the HSG is performed after the period, before ovulation. Normally cd9-12.

My doc said days 7-10. But I think some docs choose other days early in the cycle. The main issue is just to make sure that there's no chance you are preggers. (And I assume that everybody would prefer that you're not menstruating at the time either. Good luck!
