Huggies nappies

I actually quite like huggies, they didn't leak for us and the only reason we aren't using them still is because we bought just4bums nappies from Kiddicare which are amazing! They don't leak and they are cheaper :)

i dont like huggies they always leak, pampers much better

We decided to buy a small pack of huggies just to see how they would fit. Huge mistake! DS has a very long body and it seemed like Huggies were too short at the back. Also found the material a lot stiffer than Pampers and maybe for that reason, it didn't seem as of Huggies didn't hug his bottom well enough. Ha!

We only ever tried the trial packs that you get for free in various free offers for Huggies (we didn't actually buy any extra nappies until after ds was home and we worked out which ones we were going to use) and were not that impressed. We tried the Pampers and freebies and ds didn't manage to leak out of those, so we bought the newborn ones. We still use Pampers BabyDry now that he's older and in bigger nappies, but generally they only get used at night as we use BG All in Ones now.

See I'm the opersite love huggies HATE pampers :dohh:

For some reason pampers seam to feel damp right through to her clothes and I'm stuck with over 30 packets of the blooming things:haha:. That serves me right for jumping on a bargain when tesco put them for 2 boxes for £12 :dohh:.

May have to give little angels or Aldi a try:thumbup:

Aldi nappies are great :D £1.87 for a pack of 28 size 1! I've been using Hughes too as we stocked up when pregnant and not had any issues yet (apart from a messy poo but that was my fault for not putting nappy on right, d'oh!) x

I am the opposite! with pampers my LO would leak pee and poo on her clothes, with huggies nothing!

We call them Leakies in my house!

I use pampers baby dry at night and tesco/aldi's own during the day.

We always use Huggies and after 3 months have not had a single leaky nappy. Seems we are in the minority though!

Lately i like both. LO never seems to leak out of any. I do find the Huggies absorb better but the Pampers are alot stretchier and comfortable for running around in. For me Huggies are better to use during the night.

When LO was tiny i used only Huggies and they were brilliant from what i can remember so will be using them next time around.

I also used Huggies wipes to start with and i HATE them. They always rip and just don't seem strong at all. Pampers are my favourite by far.

Huggies are used here. Pampers stuck to his bottom in newborn sizes and have an awful smell but on the whole we use reusable nappies.

Had the same issue with the newborn huggies but I've discovered the 'just for bums' from Kiddiecare, 240 nappies for twenty quid and not had one leaky nappy or anything! Would highly recommend!

We use Huggies diapers and wipes and haven't had any problems.

Are there particular types of huggies that are causing problems or everyone? I've been using lil snugglers sincey son was born and haven't really had any problems. And I love that there's a little "pocket" at the back to stop his poo from escaping up his back. Saved a few outfit changes because of that.

i use pampers. i had a few pampers at the start and they were brilliant, OH mum bought us alot of huggies nappies though so decided to use them before we bought anymore pampers and out of about 10 nappies she leaked through 4/5. they are rubbish. so now we buy pampers, only thing i dont like about them is that they smell a bit.

I bought loads of Huggies when I was pregnant (easily swayed by the picture of the cute baby on the box lol) and every single one leaked!!!

We switched to Pampers when I had worked my way through the Huggies (and a million outfit changes) and have only had one accident since :)

I think it depends on the shape of your LO's bum! My sis told me she used Pampers with her first and huggies with her second cause her second boy had a rounder bum!

I prefer pampers I think, but have just bought the big box of 240 Just4Bums from Kiddicare, hope they're good, have a few pampers to get through first!

You guys should give just4bums a go. Cheaper and better than Pampers.

You rly pay for the brand.

I really like the asda little angels ones. I've never had them leaking. I use the johnsons babywipes with them. xxx

I guess we are the odd one out. We use huggies little snugglers and have absolutely no complaints. Maybe they aren't being put tight enough.
