Am I putting them on wrong or has any noticed that they don't hold anything very well?

I found this problem with huggies too!! I switched to pampers...much better
xxx

They have a reputation for being a bad fit on lots of babies. I'd suggest trying pampers too.

i didnt like huggies which was a shame as i had loads that i got free throughout my pregnancy.i found they were very hard if that makes sense and lo leaked alot.i use pampers and have never had a problem

there the only nappies my lo can use pampers are awful they leak terrible on him some say pampers are good for girls huggies for boys notr sure if this is ture??

I agree! LO leaked out them constantly. We gave up and switched back to pampers. Still have 2 packs left though...!

We use huggies during the day and pampers for overnight as they seem to hold his pee better.

Unfortunately when huggies gets wet he leaks out the sides if we dont change him as often or he is in the car.
But where we buy from its huggies so stuck with them and as he is getting bigger its not been so bad.

huggies is the perfect fit and they fill up without leaking for us and I hate pampers they always leak and sag real bad but that is our experience with them...only bad thing that I can really say about the huggies is they do seem to have a worse pee smell than any diaper I have tried...we do use the lil movers not the regular ones if that makes a difference...

Can't stand Huggies! Tried these with LO when he was first born and I thought they were OK holding in his pee and poo's, but I thought they were extremely difficult to put on, like they don't have the tabs at the back. I also tried the own brands but they leaked on me and didn't have the tabs either, so now we use Pampers Active Fit & Stay Dry, much much better

I do normally use pampers but I've ran out and as LO is still in size 1's I thought I might aswell use the huggies that we're slowly starting to build as a tower in the nursery instead of buying more. I aslo got loads free when I was pregnant but I'm glad it's not just me. I thought I was going mad or putting them on back to front or something lol. Glad it's not just me that has problems with them

Huggies are excellent for our LO

they hold loads and not one leak

We've used huggies with both our girls with no problems, suppose it's like jeans, like how differnt brands are a better fit on different people if that makes sense x x x

We prefer Huggies over Pampers, as Pampers leaked for us!

I bought loads of huggies with vouchers i had. Ive just given 6 packs away :( Firstly i found them really hard in comparison to pampers, almost cardboardy, so i used up the pampers first once i realised. When i went back to the huggies i realised they leaked.

I just wonder if its the shape of bubba. My lo was 8lb 7 when they started leaking, but he has a very round little belly. ANyone else who found they leaked have a roundy belly baby?

ETA: I use tescos own brand now im out of vouchers, and find them to be very similar to pampers. Never leaked either.

We use huggies and have never had a leak! Last twelve hours through the night no problem. Pampers leak for us...strange!

I thought I preferred pampers, but since my LO does very explosive poos they just don't hold enough & leak badly. Huggies are better by far :)

i use to swear by pampers up until the last month or two and now we have switched to huggies, pampers started bringing my son up in a horrible nasty red rash and blisters, he was screaming in pain all the time, sometimes he wouldnt even walk, we tried going up a size, changing the sort or nappy, then other day hubby went out and got pack of huggies, so far so good, and his rash is going!! but up until this it was pampers all the way. with my daughter we are using cloth, and actually prefer them to disposables altogether, but no point in switching my son now as hes approaching pt.

so now my vote goes to huggies out of the disposables. x

Wow all babies must be different shapes! For us, Huggies are the only ones that keep in the wee!

We used to like the Huggies when she was newborn, but we found the Pampers better once we changed size. Her poops kept leaking in the Huggies and they felt awful hard, and I kept grabbing the tab wrong and ripping it off lol. We use Baby-Dry now, but I'm thinking of trying the Active Fit for the daytime.
