Afternoon ladies

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with hungry baby formula?

My dd is 11weeks old and is getting along fine on cow and gate first formula, 6oz a time 5 - 6 bottles a day. The last bottle she gets is between 10 and 11pm. She is still really variable on length of sleep at night ranging from 3 hours between bottles to 8 hours! Mostly it is 4 - 5 hours so I am up between 2 and 4:30 normally. This is all fine, but I'd like her to be a bit more consistent in sleep length as we are thinking about moving her out into her own room, and of course I would like to get her up to the 8 hour sleep mark!

I've been thinking about trying her on hungry baby formula for the 10pm-ish feed and possibly the one in the middle of the night. However, I'm a bit wary because I tried her on a different formula (SMA normal first milk) a few weeks ago, only because it was the only one I could buy at the time, and it didn't agree with her at all, she was very uncomfortable and constipated. I switched her right back on to C&G.

Does anyone have any experience with hungry baby milk they could share with me? Or any other tips!

Thanks!!

I personally wouldn't change milk if I didn't really need to.

That sounds about right for your baby's age she's still really young and I actually think it's a big ask for her to go 8 hours every night at 11 weeks without a feed.

I'd give her a bit more time.

Hungry baby worked for us! Just used it at last night feed, not all the time. Seemed to get her through the night. Agree that your LO is young to be expecting sleeping through every night but we tried hungry baby around the same kind if time and majority of time she slept well on it.

My son was taking 6oz every 1.5-2 hours at 6 weeks old and making himself throw up constantly. We put him in hungry milk and he went 3 hours between feeds. It made No difference to sleep patterns though and didnt make him sleep longer. Personally I would keep going with first milk that sounds great to me!
