We've had a lot of problems finding a formula that suits Jacob and at the minute we are using heinz nurture which seems to be working as he no longer has colic or watery poop and can burp really well now too but he seems to be such a wee starvo, normally he takes about 5 oz but tonight he drained a 6oz bottle and then fell asleep, he woke up within half an hour wanting more so we just made up 2oz which he drained in seconds and then still wanted more so we made up some more and he took another 2oz and thankfully that seems to be him now but surely that is way too much - 10 oz at 8 weeks is crazy but we couldn't leave him screaming with hunger. Would it be worth trying the hungry baby formula?

He's probably having a growth spurt...but if it continues, then yes you could try hungry baby. That's interesting that Heinz suits him as my friends baby is on that after they tried every single other one!

i agree it could be just a spurt and would be a shame to change to hungry formula if its not really needed, i mean if he is like this all the time then its definately worth considering, but i would hold off for a while yet hun

Yep, we also tried loads of milks and found that Heinz was the best but she was guzzlingdown the normal one but since we switched to hungry baby she takes 7oz every 3-4hrs! I'd give it another week and if he's still the same maybe try him on it.
