Hi everyone. My husband and I started TTC 5 years ago. We TTC for 3 years and the three times I got a BFP on IC's but lost it within a few days before we got a BFP on a digi. Anyway i decided to take time out to lose weight, having now lost just under 11 stone we started TTC 4 cycles ago - yesterday we got those amazing words on a CB digi (pregnant 1-2). Hubby is incredibly excited however he's 'incredibly' stressed! He's worried sick we are going to lose this pregnancy, worried how I will cope as I have fibromyalgia and M.E. So I struggle with fatigue and pain at the best of times , we have 3 dogs (including a 9 week old pup who we bought not expecting to get pregnant so quickly - I compete obedience with my dogs so they are at least well behaved) and a son with autism although he's 10 and in a good place at the moment and has wanted a sibling for years! I am also in my last year of uni and have an exam next week and he's worried the stress will cause problems. What he isn't seeing is that HE is the only thing stressing me out because he doesn't cope with stress/anxiety well as he's having bad mood swings as a result. I know his heart is in the right place but I need to find a way to reassure him that my life can continue despite pregnancy and no harm will come to baby.

Anyone else's husbands react in a similar way? And if they did how did you manage to reassure them?

P.s. On a non related note: how soon is it possible to start experiencing mild MS? I didn't have MS with my DS but I am already experiencing mild nausea. Is it even possible at this stage?

When is your first appointment? I think it would be useful for him to go along to get some of his questions answered.

I started Ms before my bfp so yes it can start early.

Hi button, my first mw appointment is on the 29th of October so 4 weeks away. To be honest I doubt I could keep him away from the appointments if I tried lol. What is good is I was I seeing my M.E. Specialist today who recently ran a whole screening of bloods. I was speaking to her about the preganancy and she was saying that all my bloods looked really good so in her opinion I am starting from a place of good health. That was reassuring as I had weight loss surgery 16 months ago and at the beginning of the year had quite a few vitamin deficiencies so its good to know all my supplements etc are helping with that.

I have had pretty constant nausea today, not bad, just mild. Finding it quite reassuring actually as its the only symptom I have.
