HyCoSy showed right tube was clear! :) what do you think will be said in next app???

Hi just got back from having the HyCoSy done & the dye went through my only tube well apparently So happy as i have been so worried! It wasnt as painful as i thought it would be either...just a little when the balloon was blown up in the uterus. Husband is a little down as he feels a failure ( he has low sperm count & motility)...so he is saying its all his fault we are not getting preg. Im trying to reassure him, he is doing all he can to improve sperm so hoping the procedure done today might of 'flushed' out anything that was there & made tubes nice & clear for this mth???? have heard it can sometimes help so fingers crossed!!! Our next app is on October 22nd.... 24 days not that im counting lol!!! Just wondering what they will do for me now? im app ov fine.....so dunno if clomid is an option altho have heard of women being given it even when ov to try & help?? Husband is going to repeat the sperm test for the oct 22nd app so we have up to date results....

anyone else in this position or can give any advice on what we need to ask at the next app???

Great news! I ovulate and have been given clomid to increase the number of eggs and increase the chance of ovulating from the "good side", I only have one tube.

I think this could very well be an option for you. XXXX

i hope they do give me clomid.....have heard so many success stories....would love to give it a go! Can i really push for it eve if my specialist says i dont need it? xx

Yes I would. My gp gave me it. She was dragging her heels a wee bit so I pushed her into a corner and agreed so long as I got my bloods done ( my good tube was checked when I was in surgery)

When the bloods came in I phoned as asked for a prescription to be left for me. I got three months worth.

Di you know if your gp is happy to prescribe? Or would you get sent to the hospital? XX

my gp said he couldnt presribe it so my only option is the specialist...fingers crossed she will say yes in oct! xx
