I had my hycosy scan today. I just wanted to offer some reassurances for anyone waiting to have one. Whilst I won't be rushing back for another, it was nowhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be.
I was really scared before I had it done, and can honestly say that there was no pain at all. I could feel the catheter, which was a bit odd, but I was able to relax and whilst it isn't pleasant due to the invasive nature of it, the worst part was the knots my stomach was in all morning before the appointment.
They found a possible fibroid, and confirmed that my right tube is clear, but were unable to see the dye flow up my left tube.
So I'm hopeful that I'll be prescribed Clomid at my follow up appointment (which isn't til late April!) as planned.
