Hyperemesis with first two. Nothing this time?

Not that Im complaining but I just assumed I would have it again. Ive only felt food aversions and queasiness but not downright sick? Is it really possible to not have it after having it my 2 prior pregnancies? It feels weird to not be sick.... I was prepared for it!

honey, you're only 6+1! lol. mine didnt started until 6+2 with my son. but 5+5 with this one
but it would be awesome if you didnt get it at all! here's to hoping.

I know...its still early but I started both times before my 5th week... I guess Im just in disbelief?!?!?!

i was in disbelief that it started sooner this time. i was counting on those extra couple of days of feeling okay! lol. oh well. now it's time to eat small and plain until i have my nurse visit on tuesday.

Im sorry!!! I know how much the few extra days matter! I started at 4+1 with my second...ughhh..... The day after I found out!!! Welcome to pregnancy.... lol!!!!!

oh wow! that really mustve sucked lol. i had slight nausea on 4+6 and 5. but those lasted for just a little and went away when i ate something.

Hi lilprince, hopefully you wont have it this time!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I guess there's no rhyme or reason to it.

I had normal MS with my other 4 pregnancies, but this time, I've been diagnosed with hyperemesis. Although, I'm not sure about the diagnosis, because I'm feeling much better now at 10 wks Also I've read it usually happens in first pregnancies, then subsequent and younger women and that's not me either! Maybe I've just had extremely bad MS.

Fingers crossed hun, hopefully you will get away with it!!!

Thanks zoella! Im glad you're feeling better! I remember having a lull at 11 weeks with my second because I had to fly across the country and go to a wedding and I seriously WILLED myself NOT to throw up!!! lol!!! After the wedding I ended up in the hospital.... at least there was a few days I felt better I hope its the end of it for you! My heart goes out to those who have it or any kind of ms.....

animals dont have it??? why do we???? is it some kind of cruel joke??

Im glad your not sick like that this time!!! I know how you feel though. It just doesnt feel right??? lol!! How far along are you??

I don't know what to expect this time, i was really sick in my 1st & never was with my 2nd not even queasy, this time so far i haven't been sick at all just felt a little but it never started till 8 wks with my 1st so i'll just have to wait & see x

It is strange! Im kind of hoping for it (I know that sounds insane!!!) but it's a piece of mind that everything is ok and normal!! I guess there is still time.... and I should be thankful Im not sick. I keep telling DH... any day now!! LOl!

Hey lilprince, question, I had severe hyperemesis with my first two children (emma 5, ethen 3.5) and I think I recall it starting right before or at 6 weeks, im 6 weeks today with #3 & no vomiting yet? I don't see it possible to have a healthy pregnancy for myself without it? Maybe im just a few days early? Did yours ever start??
