Hypnobirth Positive stories please! I am birthing in Private Hospital with OB

Hi Everyone,

Hoping to hear some positive Hypnobirth stories from some of you lovely ladies. I would be doing this at home but I have some health issues that mean I would actually be safer in a hospital. Not that I anticipate intervention, I am just using an OB that has birthed with patients with my condition (Painful Bladder Syndrome) and I know what can happen if your doctor doesn’t understand how the condition can impact, or can be impacted by, birth.

My OB is lovely and completely supports me in my decision to go with a water/hypnobirth. I have issues with my pelvic floor being too tight so need to do everything I possibly can to relax that area. She has had patients birth with Hypnobirth before, so I am confidant she and the midwives will just let me do my thing.

I have already started the book and can’t believe how my view of birth has completely changed already! I feel so much more relaxed, aware of baby and happy! I am due to start the course 4th September. I have read all the birth stories on the “Hypnobirth” websites but hoping to hear from some of you as well!

Thank you for the link Blablabli, I will have a look today! Please come back with your birth story! I have watched some amazing videos on Youtube and I am so inspired to achieve a birth like that!
