So, I haven't felt the best today, so I only had cereal with milk around noon, then nothing else the rest of the day. Around 630 tonight, I had a hot flash, then got incredibly weak and shaky. My heart rate kicked up, and I was very anxious.
I'm pretty sure I had a hypoglycemic episode since the symptoms and lack of food most of the day seems to fit.
I've never had this happen before, can they hit this suddenly? This is my 5 th baby, and I've never had anything like it before. I don't have gd, but this is my first time being pg with hypothyroidism. Could that have something to do with it??
I guess I'm just surprised it hit so fast and suddenly.
Anyone else have this happen??
I guess I should say that I felt better after I ate, and my sister came over with her blood sugar meter and checked my sugar. It was 99 about a half hr after I ate. My DH is diabetic, but is out of town this week and has his meter with him. I wish I had been able to take it right away.
