i'm 5 weeks pregnant with my first and man, i have become a total pro at sleeping more than anything else! i can easily sleep for 8 hours during the night, and i have a nap each day which lasts around 4 hours. sometimes i have TWO naps lol.

does anyone else sleep a lot like me, or am i the only sloth-like one here? lol :)

I FEEL like I could sleep that much but sadly don´t have time cos I have a 3 year old, full of beans, boy!!!!

I only wish I could sleep like that! Have a 4 year old and a 6 year old, plus help my hubby run two businesses. I've never been able to nap throughout my pregnancies or after having my babies :(

Enjoy it!

yes i'm very lucky to be at home and not working during my pregnancy. i just have to make sure i don't become a permanent fixture on the couch lol

I remember all that sleeping in the early days. Happy days!!..... well what I saw of them anyway.

Now I'm finding it hard to sleep because I get uncomfortable.

Oh yes!!!. I feel like i could sleep for the next 7 months!!!. Its horrible!. I sleep more than im awake!!

 I always felt as though I could sleep like this, never happened though, woke up to much to go to the washroom

I feel like I could sleep all day. Although I have a 2 year old and an 8 month old who keep me on my toes all day. But I sleep very well of a night lol

First pregnancy, I slept loads... Second, I slept when Lewis napped... Thsi time round, I could sleep standing... but don't get the time, with the school run and a 2 year old, on top of the housework..... grrrr
And I am soooooo tired sometimes I could cry.. actually sometimes I just do..

If i sit down to watch tv i fall asleep. It can get confusing when you´re watching a program and then wake up and something different´s on telly!! LOL.

yes, i am sleeping my life away right now! day time sleep is sooo much better than night time too!

I sleep a lot still. I get home from work around 5:30 pm and I'm usually asleep by 8:00 (sometimes earlier). Then my husband wakes me up before he goes to bed. I get up, let the dog out, get ready for bed and fall back asleep and sleep till I have to get up in the morning. I feel exhausted all the time. I feel sorry for those who already have children and they can't sleep, I wonder how in the world they do it.

i know sleep is just about all i can do at the moment forget the housework or going shopping just give me my bed and a hot water bottle and im away hopefully by the 2nd tri i might gain alittle bit of energy to do something:rofl::rofl::rofl:

It's tough but you just do it :) My son since he was a baby has always been a nightowl. He's up until past 10 every night and there's nothing I can do about it. If I get him up earlier in the a.m., he will have a nap in the afternoon and be up even later. And, trust me, you don't want him cranky tired!

Anyhow, he's the one who exhausts me. LOL

My daughter is great and is usually asleep earlier...around 9 or 9:30.

How jealous am I of you girls!!!!

For the past week now i can sleep to save my life as my bladder wont let me :hissy: It just wakes me up at least 8 times during the night and i feel like crap in the morning and tired all day.

Never been a day sleeper either

I am sooooooo tired all the time - I spend most of my day yawning. It's worst when I'm in the office and just have to go do random things, anything just to keep myself awake, especially after my lunch. People will start wondering why I'm pacing about so much :dohh:

At least it's the weekend, so long lie ins and not alot else planned :happydance:

xx

I'm with you on this one!! Tired, I think I'm the champion at being tired. I'm not a heavy sleeper at all, very light, slightest noise wakes me.

The only thing that has woken me in the past couple of weeks has been the need for the toilet and when my other half is over my side of the bed with his elbow! Seriously though, yesterday, I finally got ready for work, other half didn't feel up to it and I didn't argue! I got in my slob about clothes, sat on the chair with feet up and slept on and off all day. Went to bed about 11.30 after sleeping for 2 hours and woke at 6 briefly and then got up at 8.20am! I reckon, in the past 24 hours, I slept, on and off for 14 hours!!!! Oh that is just ridiculous!!

I knew a girl that got hit by the sleeping bug when she was pregnant. She had to take 2 weeks sick leave as she kept falling to sleep at work!! She could easily sleep 18 hours!! She was so fed up though, but when the exhaustion hit her there was nothing she could do.
