I am so over this today!!!!

Hiya Ladies,

I am so over TTC today, I'm on cd 14 or 15 or something and I've just had it already for the month. I went off of BC when I was 18 because I wanted too, no reason really. I got married at 20 and still no pregnancy finally went to a Fertility Doctor and had blood work drawn etc. etc. hubby at the time had normal sperm counts so it was me. Blood work all came back negative for anything being wrong so I was put on Clomid and it worked first try. We started trying again when DD was 10 months old thinking it would take a while because I still had not been on BC and took CLomid...bang Preggers first cycle with DS.....my son is now 12 years old.

I am 35 years old, I do not smoke, I do not drink, I do not take drugs, I am 5'3 and weigh 110 pounds. I do have kidney disease but that is under control and I have chronic kidney stones but those are under control. I haven't taken BC in all those years and never not one time did I get pregnant. I am with a new DH now and we would love to have a baby so I went to the doctor and DH doesn't smoke, drink, do drugs and he's 6'3 and about 197 pounds. He has two kids from a previous relationship so he's got swimmers. I was put on Clomid 100mg days 4-8 but got switched to days 3-7 this cycle. I'm on cycle #3 and want a BFP.

Seriously, how hard can it be to get pregnant??? 17 years without BC and only 2 pregnancies(Clomid pregnancies at that). What gives?? Women that are addicts, smokers, drinkers all get pregnant!!! Is it because I drink caffiene? God forbid I put one nasty thing in my body...I am sorry for venting or sounding negative to all you other ladies that are in the same boat, and normally I'm pretty happy go lucky but dammit I want my BFP!!! I don't ask for much in life but I am asking for this.

hi - 17 years off BCP and only 2 babies - you think you'd have 10 at this stage.

I completely understand where your coming from - I met DH at age 19, didnt take BCP for a few years then thought I better (only did if for 2 years) usually used condoms or pull out method, got married in 2006, came off last dose of BCP after wedding, NTNP for 2007, seriously trying 2008, 2009 and now 2010 and still nothing. I was trying to stay away from alcohol, I never smoked, I try to eat well most of the time but then I think of all the people (and most of my friends included) who drink, smoke, eat junk food, take drugs etc and they all got pregnant no bother - ive decided not to worry about what I eat or drink anymore cos its not really about what you put into your body (as long as its not heroine - then again heroine addicts fall pregnant all the time...) but its more to do with your period and mine has been pretty terrible all my life (where as my friends who all got their BFP's on their 1st or 2nd month trying) have easy and pretty much pain free normal non-spotting light periods.

Its so frustrating cos I have never in my life seen the 2 lines on a pregnancy test - so unfair that some people just look at sperm and get pregnant and here's us trying like mad women and nothing - the worlds badly divided!!!!

i know, it sucks we all have those days sweetie,

I think that we just have to try and remain positive and thankful for the things we do have ?!?!

Its just sooooo hard though !

Rebarezelba: I laughed when I read the part about heroine addicts because that is the truth, I did smoke for quite a long time and then quit thinking it might help. I'm really wierd though because I get regular AF's they last the regular amount of time, not too heavy or anything. Just wierd because I've had testing and there's no reason for me not to concieve. It just will not happen without help and your right I should have about 10 kids right now..lol..
We're in the same boat in that it takes us forever so I hope you get your BFP soon I at lease have had the chance to have two pregnancies I honestly hope you get to experience that as well. Chin up and even though I had good bitch about it yesterday I feel better and we're boht going to get what we want in the end!!! Tons of Baby Dust, Dirt, Gravel coming your way!!!

Charlie: Thanks and your right about staying positive, its hard sometimes but it will take as long as its supposed to. I wish you all the best in your journey as well!!

Hi - Yeah I know your right - it will happen when its suppose to (its just takin forever..... )

I hope the Clomid works again for you this cycle - im thinking of asking my FS for it at our next appointment (which going my the nurse in the Dr surgery will be approx 21 weeks.... brilliant! ) I ov on my own but maybe some clomid would help as Ive read about plenty of ladies who were prescribed it even though they ov as well and they got their BFP's.

Anyway to us all - and BFP's too.

I hope it does work for you, I O on my own apparently but need Clomid to make it happen..lol..not sure why but it had worked before. Funny when we were in High School we were made to feel even looking at a boy would make us pregnant, how ironic. Life huh?

I'm om my 2ww, so hopefully something will happen and I'll get that BFP!! Good Luck to you and I wish you all the best!!
