I am so sad... need words of encouragement

Hi all -
I am so upset - my first IUI yielded a BFN. Just got the call from the doctor's office. I'm hiding in my office (at work), just totally broke down.

I didn't realize we can't do another IUI right away, so now we have to wait. All I feel we ever do is wait.

We have an appt with our RE on the 31st - even that seems so far away.

Things just suck right now. Honestly, I can't see any light at the end of this tunnel.

Just needed to write this down. Anyone feel this way... what did you do that helped?

I'm so sorry. We're just getting to the point of realizing we may need IUI, and that's devistating enough. I can't imagine the hopelessness you're feeling right now. I really don't think anything will make you feel much better at this point. But...there have been tons of others with a failed first attempt and a successful second! I just talked to another girl who's been trying for 28 months and just got a BFP after her second IUI

That is devastating hun - and always making things worse is having to wait even longer...



The only thing that I have to keep telling myself is that the only option is to go forward - or I will never have what I want.

Oh hun - it's soooo crap and disappointing when things don't work. You will pick up and feel better in the next few days though. It's true that many people don't get their bfp first time round. Do something nice and relaxing for yourself -you need tlc - big hugs xxx

So sorry ReikiBaby . I know nothing about IUI so can't offer any advice . The whole ttc malarkey is one long wait and it drives me crazy.
I so hope you can get on with another try soon and get that BFP xx

Hey, I´m so sorry! I just tested a BFN today too. Ok, so its not an IUI, but I´m fainting under the crap side effects from Metformin. I´m trying to read stuff on BnB and see if there´s anybody in the same boat. We´re all the in the same boat of waiting dear.....

Keep going, one day at a time. Find something you enjoy doing today and do it! I´m going to relax, heck the housework and just surf computer the whole day...plus watch a nice movie with my hubby when he comes home.....
