I have just booked in to have a 4D scan there (I'll be 21 weeks). The main reason being that I really want to know the gender and baby wasn't playing ball at the NHS scan.

I'm a bit nervous now because I have read a couple of reviews saying they got the gender wrong. Has anyone been there? Can you tell me what it's like?

Thanks:flower:

I had a scan there when I was 31 weeks and have nothing bad to say about them.

We had to go back a second time as the baby was snuggled into the placenta so we couldn't see his face properly (we didn't have to pay to go back as you get to go back 2 times if the baby isn't playing!)

They confirmed the baby's gender for us (boy) and we got a CD of all the photos and a DVD of the scan which is brilliant.

The room we had the scan in was very comfortable and you get to watch the scan on a huge TV screen.

You will love it - look forward to seeing the pictures :cloud9:

Here are some of our pics:

Aww, thank you for putting my mind at rest. Lovely pictures. I'm really excited now. I've never been for a private scan, let alone a 4D one. I am soooo impatient to know the gender.

I went there twice - once at 9 weeks for an early pregnancy scan and again at 28 weeks. The 28 week scan had to be redone at 30 weeks as he wouldn't move the cord out of his face at the first one. I already knew the gender so I am not sure about their accuracy, but they were very friendly and their prices are very reasonable. Nice comfortable studio too :) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

be prepared baby looks v strange at 21 weeks in 3/4d lol

Hi again!

We had our scan (definitely a boy) at 'I Can See You!' and were very pleased with the whole thing, especially as they let us go back 3 times because baby wasn't in a great position.

I just wondered what your DVDs were like as we were surprised to find, when we watched it at home, that the image of the baby is very small on the screen. Most of it was taken up by all the data and gubbins that was on the scanners computer screen. Is that how everyone elses is too?

Yep mine was like that too! Oh, now my little boy is here I can confirm he looks just like in the DVD!!

Aww, cute! Thanks for clearing that up. I can't wait to meet my little fella. He was pulling all sorts of faces and put his foot up by his mouth.

Ahh how lovely :) my LO was holding his cord! When we first put him in the Moses basket he grabbed the handle and held it while he was asleep, must have felt like the cord to him! So cute :)
