I got really excited at first but after two days of it, I'm so over it :coffee:

It's contractions which come and go without any pattern, not very strong and don't do much except annoy you and make you uncomfortable. It means labour is on its way. Any time within a few hours to a few weeks :dohh:

Oh no! That's just teasing you! I hope they either leave or turn into something more promising for you (if your ready that is) :)

You can get them for quite a while, iv had random ones for last 3 weeks now and they are bloody annoying when they sneak up on you and really take your breath away.

It would be lovely if they could progress. At the very least, I'm hoping it's making me nice and favourable for a sweep next week :)

Isn't pregnancy just awesome?!? You get sick, chubby, sometimes spotty, hormonally unstable, constipated and possibly have to suffer crazy irregular contractions that could go on for weeks.

Thankfully there's a gorgeous new little person at the end if it :)

:hugs: hope your contractions turn into something more productive really soon!! Xx

I had it for about a week with dd then went into 5 day slow labour on her due date that was the pits every 10 minutes for 4 days then 36 hours established I was a zombie but at least u know something's brewing in the home straight now x

Dont forget hairy, greasy, gassy and peeing yourself :)

I'm having this!! So over it too! Had me up at 4am for nothing....doing my head in! Got a show, random contractions and period pain that never seems to amount to anything!! Wish it would either ramp up or piss off! LOL

I had this since about 7 months...maybe closer to 8 months in my last pregnancy. My contractions were very painful and definitely could not sleep through them! Mind you..I have never heard this term "prodromal" used until this pregnancy. I just called it pre labor. My contractions were also pretty close together and consistent. My doula would have to come over and coach me through them..that's how bad they got. I never experienced this in my first pregnancy.

I'm having a feeling I will experience the same thing in this pregnancy too but I just really hope it doesn't start so soon this time!!

I've been trying to spur them on tonight with sex and birth ball bouncing. It fizzled out very quickly. Don't know how you managed for months with this!
