...okay, maybe a little. :) my little one has been sleeping 5-7 hours straight at night. Like last night, she slept from 11-6, ate, went back down till 830. I never knew this was possible! My first was so horrible, I guess I got lucky this time around. Then again, she's only 3 weeks and it all might go to crap in a month or so, lol. I'll enjoy it for now. Sorry ladies, I had to share my excitement!

Glad things are going better for you - hope the extra sleep helps you to relax a bit. It's so hard when you're exhausted!

Pffffffft ;p

Don't talk to me about sleep

Seriously though enjoy it a well rested mummy is a happy mummy.

Enjoy it! My 1st was terrible and my 2nd was brilliant ....... Until last week!

I'm relishing in the fact that my baby is a terrific sleeper. She sleeps 7P-4A, nurses, and is right back to sleep until 7:30A. I've yet to feel sleep deprived. I'll never take it for granted because I remember being zombie-like when my second child was an infant. She didn't sleep longer than one hour spurts until she was 10 months old.

Jealous! My three year old doesn't even sleep that well :haha:

My daughter has been sleeping from around 7:30/8pm to 7/7:30am since she was a similar age - you never know, it might stay :D

I'm hoping it lasts! My first was horrible, she'd never sleep...I didn't know this was even possible lol. I'm enjoying it while it lasts.

It may last! My first was a dream sleeper. 7-8 straight hours by 5 weeks and 10-12 hours by 12 weeks. He never regressed.

My second was a HORRIBLE sleeper. Horrid.

And now my third seems to be following suit after my first child. Here's to hoping there is no regression with her, either.

I hope it lasts for ya! My 7 week old slept through the night for almost a week before this morning. Apparently a growth spurt can cause babies to randomly start sleeping through the night. So now I'm wondering if tonight was a one off or if the sleeping through the night was just temporary :( Hope it's not the latter! Good luck! :D

Haha, mine is the same. Her sis was up twice a night until six months or so and even then was up for the day at 4am. This one has regularly done 7 or more hours from about five weeks and now does eight to nine hours usually but last night slept for ten and not up until 6.40am! Not feeling too smug though as could all change!

My DD is getting there too! 6 weeks today and she celebrated by sleeping 10-5:30. Her first sleep of the night always seems to be 4-5 hours since she was 3 weeks, but sometimes as much as 7.5!

That's so awesome! My DS slept 4-5 hour chunks until he was about 10 weeks old and then he started getting up hourly, which sucked, but at least I'd had 10 weeks of good sleep! Hopefully it will last for you but even if it doesn't at least you'll have the memory of having a baby who sleeps (that got me through many sleepless nights, that memory was my happy place :haha:)
