So it has been like this:

When we went to our home country this past summer.. My eye started to annoy me.. it seemed red at the bottom side and kindda a bit inflamed.. I started to scratch it as it bothered me, then it grew and it had a bit of puss (sp?).. I bought a cream and it fainted away..

Since we came back home, I have been having that a lot. It has happened.. I would say.. 5 times.. but only one time out of those 5 times my eye did become HUGE! It literally closed.. it was my right eye..

I freaked out and went to see a doc, and he told me that it happens when u r under stress, and other factors, blah blah blah.. and it causes the vein to close a bit.. I was using eye liner a lot for a while so I thought maybe it was the make up... then the doctor told me that after it minimizes, I needed to have a small surgery to clean it out as it was full of puss (sp?) but I didnt accept it bec I was pregnant at that time and I freaked out.. so taran! it disappeared..

Yesterday morning my other eye started to annoy me, and when I touched it, it hurted.. Same feeling with the others.. but this one didnt seem to grow bec I woke up today and it is still the same size so I know it wont grow but still hurts when I open/close my eyes or touch it..

The only thing that can inflame my eyes is ASPIRIN, since I have allergy to it.. but I dont take it bec I know it is no good..

What could be causing this? :dohh:

Sorry no advice for you, was going to suggest allergies but it sounds as though you already know what you are allergic too. Hope you feel better soon :hugs:

Could be allergy of some (although if it were would expect it to affect both eyes) sort or an infection, possibly blocked glands in lid. If GP was wanting to do surgery sounds could have been a blocked duct or something or a stye like lump that neede excising.

Without full exam difficult to really know. Might be worth going to see local optometrist as sometimes we know more about eyes than doctors ( unless it is an area they particularly specialise/ have interest in.)

Hope you get it sorted soon.
