I am to be induced tomorrow at 2pm if nothing has happened by then which I doubt it will as there is no sign at all of LO (I am now 9 days overdue).

'Nervous' doesn't even come close to covering it! I can't concentrate on anything for longer than a minute, barely slept last night and night before, and eating is difficult because I feel sick with nerves (I am only eating for the baby's sake). I am all shaky with goosebumps, and trying so hard to calm myself down but just can't relax. I tried my self-hypnosis relaxation cds last night and they helped a little however not as much as usual.

I just can't get my head round the fact that in over 24 hours things will start to be kicking off, and LO will be here in a few days max :argh:

don't get me wrong, I am also really excited but the nerves are completely taking over as I am not good with pain :shy:

Best of luck!
I was induced with my first and I remember feeling like that.
You will do great and all the pain is worth it because your baby will be beautiful. Best of luck xx

Totally understandable, Hun! Try to rest as much as you can and get ready to meet your LO very soon. Fingers crossed! :hugs:

Have faith in yourself and your body to do something that is incredibly natural. You can do it and you will! :hugs:

Also, try to have a very narrow frame of mind-focus ONLY on the positive. Discard any negativity that filters into your head.

I'm starting to feel like you hun. Its scary to think about it all, but we have to go thru it, so its time to put a positive head on and think 'i can do this!'.

Best of luck hun xxx

like one other lady said just focus on the positive. also when I'm nervous I distract myself. Could u try that? get a easy to do activity and just try and loose yourself in it. watch funny movies. Organize babies stuff. I've been folding and re folding his things it seems to calm me. and just remember it wontnlast forever and then u will have a beautiful child at the end. :)
