The diversion tactics sounds good to me! Do you offer her something else to drink or snack on? There comes a time when you just need to say no I think too... Its all up to what your comfortable with though. 6 feeds is alot.

I agree... Alexa is down to morning and night feeding, that is it-except sometimes she gets a boobie with her nap too- 6 feeds is way too much for a 1 year old! Do you think it is possible her appetite is increasing? When Alexa gets a "boo boo" I give her something such as a cracker or small cookie, and it usually works. I don't think a boobie every now and then when she has a boo boo or can't sleep, is bad, but I think every single time likely will not help!

Brenn still nurses 6 times a day, I have no problem with it. Maybe it is just a phase she is going through, her teeth are hurting or something. It won't last forever. If she was still after you after an hour of trying to persued her otherwise, I think she definatly knows what she wants.

Just out of curiosity, I know you've mentioned your cycles are sketchy, have you noticed any correlation bettween the frequency of feedings and your cycles? I dont think it would matter at this point... Some people bfing can affect, some it doesnt.

Its up to you whether you let her feed or not... If she is old enough to know what she wants, she old enough to learn no. JMO and like I said, its your baby, your boobs and up to you!

Yeah, the more she feeds the longer they are. They were 28-30 days when she was feeding 2-3 times a day, now she's back up to atleast 4 (mostly 5-6) they're 32-35 days

Not sure if it's causing a problem, but I do wonder if my bodies gearing up to O but doesn't because of how much she's feeding and how much... what's the word ... she's making my body produce.

Who knows I guess. I can usually tell which feeds she needs and which she doesn't, so I'll go with that, or try. It's so hard to say no now she can get them out herself
