I wish I had a friend like you! You are in no way being selfish by hoping for your BFP. As the others have said, be careful about how you tell your friend when you do get your BFP & just be there for her in the mean time but there is no way you should put your life on hold for someone else. And perhaps you should talk to your husband about how you're feeling? It sounds like you could do with a hug

That's awful for anyone to have to go through.

But you have your own life. It may upset her, but if she was a good friend to you she would support you. Just be there for her and if you get the good news then decide whether you're going to wait to tell her or not xx
