I had a little boy!

Hey I had a little boy called Ryan on 9th march 8lb 4oz, he was born at 3.16am. I had the show on the Tuesday then early hours Wednesday around 1.30am i started with lower back pains. My Mum suggested that evening that i could be in labour so i went to the hospital to see if i was, the early hours of Thursday to find i was 1-2cm dilated. I went back home and was trying to time the contractions they were every 5 mins then 4 then 3 then 5 again, in the end i just went back into hospital seem it was around 30 mins away. Apparently i was having mini contractions inbetween big ones. went into the labour ward around 4.20pm Thursday afternoon when i was around 6 cm dilated, the little man was in no hurry to arrive (he was falling asleep during contractions lol), i was trying to push for nearly two hours but his head was tilted. In the end i had forceps assistance and then i had to go into theatre to be stitched up. I lost a pint and half of blood and now im anemic, Im on iron tablets now. Poor little man has colic but other than that his great. I just got the baby blues which is normal, wouldn't change him for the world though, he was worth all the pain (suprisingly kept calm all the way through!!) I aint slept much since starting labour so my mum and dad looked after him on friday (good old grandparents, even though i couldnt properly sleep coz i missed him so much). xx

Hes gorgeous!!! He has the same colour hair as my ryan had when he was born..he isnt ginger anymore hes a beautiful strawberry blonde colour..perfect mix of mommy and daddy lol

He looks so tiny and cute in that bouncer!

We thought it will turn into strawberry blonde. Me and OH dont have ginger hair but suppose it doesnt matter. I think theres a bit of ginger in my OH family. His gawjus, i cant get over him xxx

My oh is a red head and our first had dark hair which turned blonde, when ryan was born i thought he was going to have dark hair but he was a lil red head lol i was gutted when his hair started to change but he now has the most beautiful shade of strawberry blond!

Seeing his pics has made me even more desperate to get my hands on my lil man
