I had my six week scan this morning

I had my six week (dated from first day of last period) scan this morning. The sonographer dated the pregnancy at about 5 weeks and there was a sac measuring 6mm across. I have to go back for another scan in three weeks. I knew there was a chance that we wouldn't see a fetus so I wasn't disappointed. I'm hoping the next 3 weeks pass without event and that everything goes well.

I'm feeling hopeful and excited but scared and apprehensive too. Fingers crossed.

Glad it went well darling, totally normal not to see much if your dates are a little out. You will be amazed at the different by 8 weeks
