Let me just start off by saying I hate, loath, despise (what ever other word means hate) Infertility! I am on CD 32 of my second cycle on clomid. My first cycle I took 50 mg, no ovulation. This cycle I took 100 mg days 3-7 on CD 19 and 20 I got positive OPK's and had a lot of fertile CM (sorry if thats TMI). About 5 days after my positive opk I had sore breat. I really had thought I had ovulated. I had been taking my temp and they were not really that high (so I did have a little bit of fear I did not ovulate) but I seen others have charts like mine with ovulation. Anyways the DR just called and told me my progesterone was only 0.5 which means I did NOT O. I had my blood drawn on CD 30. So has anyone else had this, really thought they had Ovulated and then found out they had not? I will be taking 150 mg starting day 5 once my period starts.

No words of advice for Clomid as never used it- there is a lot of discussion in LTTTC section on Clomid so might be worth posting this there.:hugs:

Hey,

I just wanted to let you know that I am in a similar situation as you. I took Clomid 50 mg and did not ovulate. I just finished taking 100 mg and yesterday went for my halfway through cycle ultrasound and the woman told me that I showed some improvement, but it still was not where I should be. I was really upset yesterday and I still am now, but I just try not to think about it. Now I am waiting until my period starts and will be trying 150 mg. I never got a positive ovulation test, but I def. had more side effects this cycle than last, which made me think I had or was about to ovulate. But alas, another, "Sorry, not this month." Anyway! I'm very new to this and have never posted before, but after I read this and saw how similar our stories are I just really felt as though I should let you know that someone is going through close to the same thing as you! Just try to keep your head up, I know it can be hard at times!
