i have inflamed ovarys and cysts! has anyone else had this?

i was really ill yesterday had 2 be rushed to hospital. They looked at me and felt my tummy and they said that my ovaries and cysts are all inflamed and swollen. The pain is so bad!! Have any of you ladies had this?? I have PCOS so i know that is a reason. But what have you had to do if u have had this and what has happened in the end?? xx

Hi Becci - I have PCOS too but not experienced this - I know that the ovaries in women with PCOS can be larger anyway but am assuming that as you were poorly and they said that your ovaries were inflammed that this may be something out of the ordinary - what did the dr tell you about it? If no one on here knows maybe try posting on soulcysters - just as it is PCOS dedicated so there may be more chance of someone who has gone through this.

Did they tell you to take any anti-inflammatories? neurofen is the only anti-inflammatory I know you can get over the counter - there may be others but also you might want to check with the doctor first !!
