My AF is due tomorrow but I started spotting brown/pink on Saturday evening. This happened on Sunday and Monday too. I did pregnancy tests but all negative. Then yesterday, no spotting and 2 preganacy tests were positive. Last night however I went to the toilet and after doing a Number 2 (Sorry TMI) the toilet had red blood in it and I was bleeding a bit. I got very worried this was a miscarriage but the bleeding stopped within 5 minutes and has not started again.
I went to the doctor first thing this morning and she said we have to assume you have had a miscarriage because of the bleeding and to do a pregnancy test on Monday, if negative then it was and if positive then it wasnt!

I am just wondering if anyone has experienced a miscarriage at 4 weeks where the bleeding only lasted 5 minutes??

I had a miscarriage at five weeks at it was just like having AF come late so a lot longer than five minutes. Fingers crossed for you

My very early MC was just like a normal period (with a bit of spotting before).

Hello I had a similar experience' I actually had a period then did a test and it was possitive by was neg b4 my period came' then I began spotting it would start and stop' and I felt like I had really bad trapped wind on my right side' I went to the early pregnancy unit an they scanned me and found my pregnancy was ectopic :-; just be careful him' and if you still getting positive tests after a week I would go to the epu and get them to scan you or they will take bloods to see what levels your hcg are' wishing u luck and I hope this is not the case for you though xx

I had an early miscarriage in August. It was the hardest thing to go through but I promise with time it will get better.
