I know it's nearly Christmas when.....

OHS annual leave starts. He has 1.5 weeks left at work before he finishes for Christmas. He has about 6 weeks off every year. That's when the fun starts.

The first 4 weeks are amazing, we can have lots of family time on the weekend since he usualy works every Sundays and most Saturdays. We get the house all tidy and we spend some time chilling in the evenings. By week 5 I'm desperate for him to go back so I can have this living room to myself 2 evenings a week. But the day he goes back, I miss his stupid annoying face.

That's awesome! OH gets 1-2 days off (Christmas day and Boxing day). This year he will have 4 off in a row as I'm asking him to take Christmas Eve off too I requested it off already, so excited for 4 days off together
