schnoodle whatever you do DO NOT get your hamster a girlfriend! I got 2 male hamsters for my son (so they wouldn't be lonely,) turned out one was not male and one day I heard this weird squeaking noise only to find 5 hamster babies!!! I gave them away to stop it happening again but 6weeks later another litter popped out!!! Aaaaggghhhhh......

I tell ya if only I was as fertile as my hamsters i'd be laughing!!!

Awww... :3... I love hamsters. Believe me, he will make you feel a million times better. I think it comes down to the nurturing aspect of things. My Percy makes coping with the agony of ttc so much easier. But, I would be curious to know how well your little buddy copes with his ball? I think Percy is claustrophobic.

And, heck! I wish they made a ball big enough to stuff OH in, sometimes! *giggles* Very nice!! Enjoy your new companion!!

Awww how sweet. I haven't had a hampster since I was a kid. Oddly enough my parents bought me a pregnant hampster (lol they didn't know) She ended up having 11 babies one morning Enjoy your fur baby!!!

well zachary had a goodnight at home with mummy and dayddy, he had some foor and must have still been hungry cas he bit mummys finger and made it bleed!!( i didnt think they had teeth!) lol! Were going to bgring him downstairs today!! wahoooo!!!!

Oh yah they have teeth, nice big curved ones that cut LOL I got bit many times. They also love to chew holes in the tops of their cages if they have a wheel. Keep a close eye on that little guy they can be mischevious

awwww schnoodle i am so happy for you, bet you love the fella so much already. Little fur balls can make ttc so much easier, he will take your mind off whats in hand and before you know it you will be all duffed up

lol i hope so!!! blesshes so coot i have just been out and bought him a leash so he can walk around the house without escaping, and some hamster chocolate drops and some chewy things so hopefully hel bite that and not his mummys finger!!

LOL! bless you hunny, I guess now with zachary in the house, the cat is def out! cats ain't good for pregnant ladies cause of the toxoplasmosis...guess a hamster is way cuter!
I think a running wheel would be better than running around house!
