Well ladies, it looks like I may be experiencing my 3rd miscarriage. Going by the dates of my lmp I am 6 weeks and 1 day today.
At 5 weeks 6 days I was given an internal ultrasound due to stabbing pains on my right side. The scan showed nothing in my uterus so they suspected I was earlier than I thought, or the pregnancy was ectopic. Whilst there they took blood for Beta HCG testing.
Last night I started spotting, the bleeding was brown. Upon waking this morning the bleeding had turned a very dark red but by lunch time it had turned back to a very dark brown. This evening it is red again and is a little more like a light period now.
I went for a second lot of Beta HCG tests today and I get the results tomorrow.
I am not in any pain at the moment so it's anyone's guess what will happen at the moment.
They haven't ruled out ectopic yet, so should my blood levels come back static or having only risen slightly I think I might opt for methotrexate. x
