I met my midwife :)

I met my midwife yesterday and she seems lovely and she says she has no problem with me planning for a homebirth.

she basically took down all my details and is planning a date for my 12wk scan and is coming to visit me soon.

i'm so excited for my scan

she didn't do the baby monitoring on the heartbeat thing because she said it'd be hard to find it and she didn't want to upset me.

I was too uneasy having a homebirth first time, would love to go for it 2nd time around though.

Glad you have yourself a nice midwife, Mines seemed a little like she didn't care at first x

Glad all went well sweet,
my midwife is lovely 2, she listened to heart beat at my 14 week appointment
but i got put back 10 days at 20 week scan so i was before 14 weeks!
Home birth my god your brave! i couldnt do it i dont it! i mean i have a nutty 6 month old staffy and now a 5 month old american bulldog that would be 2 interested!!

no....i held on till i was home...i think the nerves of meeting her made me forget the sick feeling...but when i got home...woah i think yesterday was the worst day ever on the sickness thing!!!

I couldn't keep anything down

Good to hear that you liked her.. I want to do a home birth too! But im not pregnant yet lol.. already planning.. But it just looks so much calmer, and you dont have ppl yelling at you and stuff like that. good luck
