I need a Webcam but totally clueless. Help!

I need a webcam for my mom, who is visually impaired. She lives further away and wants to be able to see/speak to DS on Skype. I want to get her a webcam but I have no idea what I'm even looking for. Anyone able to help?

this one is on amazon and plugs into the USB and has a built in microphone. Does your moms computer have speakers? If not then a separate headset would be better.
