I need Pre-Seed TIps PLEASE!

I am going to attempt to use pre-seed for the first time this cycle in hopes that maybe it holds the answer to my ttc issues!

However, I have been told that sometimes its too much when you put it up there and it just kind of drains out? I obviously don't want that so anyone who has had success with pre-seed and has any recommendations on the best way to use it? How much to use? When you put it in? or if you just used it like a normal lube?

I know the package instructions say it works best when you apply it up in there with the applicators but I just don't know what to do!

Anyone with advice would be super helpful!!

Hi! I used preseed for the first time this cycle and I quite like it. I've been applying it with the applicator and squeezing it up like you would a tampon - fully insert and then squeeze. I've found filling the applicator and keeping the stuff in it the hardest part - took a couple of goes before I realised you can screw the applicators on to the tube! Once you've done that, hold them both, applicator down/tube up to allow air bubbles in the tube to float up. Then gently squeeze the tube to fill (I normally fill to number 3, which has seemed about right for me as I don't have much cm). Carefully unscrew, holding both parts of the applicator - the moving bit moves very easily in my experience! Insert like I described. When you've done it once, you'll get the hang of it - good luck and baby dust!

I don't have much CM either...although we don't normally have to use any type of lubricant when we have sex so this is really my first shot at that?

How long before you dtd do you insert??

We had been using Durex lubricant before this stuff because did need it! You may need less. I would recommend inserting it 'right up' for the least leakage. I pretty much insert a few mins before dtd although you can leave it 15 mins it says on the packaging - something about no longer than that otherwise it soaks in?

Ah ok perfect! Sorry this is probably going to sound gross but just insert it exactly like a tampon and push it in then go dtd?? hopefully that will prevent it leaking out?

Yes, insert it exactly like you would insert a tampon with an applicator (slide extended applicator inside as much as is comfortable, push inner tube inside outer tube, then pull both parts out).

If I used the applicator I only filled it to just between the 1 and 2 mark. But DH and I both like when we just apply on him (about the size of dime) and use it as a lube that way, but if you use it that way, get it in there quickly cause it has a tendency to dry quickly.

YUP! we did the SMEP while using preseed and softcups...

we started dtd at cd8 I think, every other day until O then 2 days in a row then skipped a day then one day for insurance. we used the preseed as lube then i inserted the softcup while still laying down when DH was finished and usually slept with it in.

this method worked the first time we tried it after about 3 months of just trying with preseed alone. i plan on doing this exact method when we start trying for #2 in July.

I know, trying is not so much fun after a while - but trust me, there will be a point where you will miss POAS lol. even through all of the disappointments, it's exciting to be in the moment where your life might change forever.

You are right...I know when that moment happens that I have a test that says PREGNANT or I definitely see 2 pink lines or whatever it may be I will probably break down and cry right then and there...heck I might even take the day off work lol

I'm just BEYOND ready for this....12 cycles of ttc is getting to me lol
