I need to know!!!

I am new on here so not all that clued up on this, I am 5 days late on my period, sore boobs and back! I hav done 3 home tests all showing negative, is there still that chance i could be pregnant. Kinda hoping i am. All this waiting is driving me and my partner mad. I have read up on HCG levels etc and some people have said it can take weeks for it to show, Has anyone had these problems.

I've heard some people don't get positive hpt's till they are 8 weeks along.
So you're not out till AF shows
