hello ladies im 41 and been tcc for 9 month ive had 2 mc during that time and cus of my age thought i should see the doc well ive had bloods done and my levels for lh and fsh are 4.5 and 4.9 the nurse didnt know anything about it is that ok or not ok and i had my progesterone done today so could one of you wonderfol ladoes help me thanks xoxo ps i hope you dont mind me asking in here !

Whenabouts in your cycle were these tests done.....c. CD3-5? If so, those levels are actually really good. The ratio between the two should be roughly 1:1, which it is (that indcates low likelihood of PCOS), and the FSH shows pretty excellent egg reserves, especially for someone who isn't in their 20's anymore....no offensemeant at all, but age is a factor with FSH.

I've recently had my FSH tested and it was 10.....my egg reserves are considered 'fair to diminished', but not poor (which was expected for my age). I am 40 and I too have had 2 mc's over 18 months TTC, (although I do have a daughter who is 2.5 years old as well), so we are in pretty similar boats!
