I see spots, can you have chickenpox twice.. Help...

Hi guys, yesterday evening my lil man (4 years) came over to me and said "mummy my chickenpox have come back"....
So i have had a good look and hes right there are clusters of small spots on the inside joint of his arm and elbow and one on its own on his neck,
He had the pox really bad the first time round and im just wondering if anybody has had a similar experience of the pox coming back for a second time.

if he have them mild the first time then yes they can come back a second time, but I havent heard of anyone having them bad then getting them a second time. It could be heat rash xx

Yes, I had them 5 times as a child.

I was one big chicken spot as a child and have had them 3 times in total during childhood, could very well be them back, hope he isnt to itchy

Normally its a rare case. But I know one who had 4 times.

its not as rare as you think....my friends little girl has had them 3 times and all really bad cases.
