I'm almost 24 weeks, almost viable and yet I still check every time I go potty... I've made it further that the other times but I just can't get to the point that I think I'm going to have a baby out of this...

Sorry to all the other mommies who have been through so much more than me as I know I've done it once before but I just can't get my head there... I'm scared it's not all going to be ok

Every single time hun, it's so scary. But you are days away from viability and all the signs are on your side. :hugs:

Me too!! after 2 losses before this little chap im a paranoid freak!! I have never used so much loo roll as over the last 5 months...always wiping, always checking!! I even turn the lights on in the bathroom so i can see at the 3am & 5am wees!

You are not alone...you are almost viable and luck really is on your side now xxx

Hi Hun,

I am the same way! 13 weeks and 3 days today and still check every time I wipe. I toweled off with a new red towel this morning after my shower and it left me with lint I didn't know about. When I wiped after a pee - I about had a breakdown before I realized it was JUST LINT! Even after 6 ultrasounds showing a beautiful bouncing baby...I worry non-stop.

I can't wait to get to the point of viability...you are almost there and I am sure you will be just fine! :)

Congrats on almost reaching viability. That is so exciting. :D

I am a regular knicker checker too. :haha:

I know at 32 weeks I will sound silly saying this but so do I. About 1-2 weeks ago I was given an early labour test which I was not really sure why I was given it and the test caused some very small amount of bleeding and it has put me on edge ever since. I know at 32 weeks the main concerns are not there if he comes early but I will feel so much better when I get to 35 weeks.

I too am a knicker checker  I think I will be until this little one arrives safely sometime in August.

All I can say is thank God for BNB and all the ladies here as you have all been my rock!

I found you all after last year when I had my mmc and you have been there for the last two mc as well.

Thank You to all of you!:hugs:

I'm sitting here crying

Thank you ladies, you will never know how much I needed to come home to this thread today....

Thank you

Me too!!! It's like a new hobbie :haha: It makes me smile every time there is no blood!!:happydance:

everybody who has had any bleedingor a m/c or a mmc does the knicker checking this is my second baby since 2 mmc and i still do it even thou ive had no probs with this pregnancy, its a normal thing 5 more weeks and ill be viable too and cant wait.

i'm 33 weeks and still knicker checking, it's something i've done the whole way through and is now a bonafide habit, will prob still do it subconsciously after bubba arrives!

yup i do it, (even more so coz ive had bleeding) but i agree its a relief when theres nothing there but ewwy discharge lol xx

I do it too! I even randomly go into the bathroom and check just in case! xx

yep i do it!

Yesterday, i had some brown discharge spotting when i wiped, so now im knicker watching and drinking lots of water so i can pee and wipe to check! Its such a worrying journey. :hugs:

you know you are not alone. I have waited til today to even join up. 13 weeks and I don't wanna do anthing to jinx it this time. good luck hun.

I'm definitely a checker too, not only every time I go to the toilet, but also if I feel a 'bit funny'. Thought I would have stopped by now as I can feel bubbles and movement, but without fail I still check.

i can say from experience that just as you stop checking for blood you start checking for your 'show' instead....so it never ends lol

xxx

I had 2 previous mc's so I know just how you feel. It even got to a point where I would go to the bathroom everytime I felt some moisture! I'm a 3rd-time-blessed (I like this word better than 3rd-time-lucky) mom but my little tyke is oh-so-worth the wait!
