I think got my +OPK on CD 19. Opinions please? (OPK & TMI Pics inside *Page 2*)

So, I've kind of started tracking my CM, rather than waiting for EWCM, which I've only gotten twice, both times hubby was out of the country. Lol. Go figure.

I am CD 15 today. I usually ovulate anywhere from CD 14 - 17 based on my past cycles. So I reached up in there and got what I think may be watery CM but I'm by no means any expert on what CM should look like.

It's not stretchy whatsoever, it really does look like I put my finger under a running faucet. It is a bit opaque in color. It's not sticky but it dries up really quickly (not sure if that means anything).

Also, I of course use OPKs to help me along and I have not got a positive yet so I'm wondering if my body is gearing up to O?

I'm wondering if maybe my pee is too diluted to actually bring out a blazing positive or does it not matter with LH? I'm usually one who does not drink water but since finding out water does help with CM I've been downing tons for the last cycle and half.

Watery is good! I only got EWCM once, after my MC, every other time it's watery.
It looks like you'll be ovulating any day now, when are you testing and are you testing once or twice during the day?

I usually test around 7PM, and once a day. I bought a bundle of OPKs that were like 100 in the pack but they take so darn long to get here I'm afraid I'd use them all up if I tested twice a day. Lol.

I used to test 3x a day when we lived in the states because everything was readily available. Oh how I miss home..

Yes it can!
I usually get an almost snow white test the day before I get a positive. It's crazy, it just shows up. I bet tomorrows test will already be negative, get BD!

We sure did get a really good BD session in. I used a bit of pre-seed. (Funny note : I ran out of applicators so I used my fingers, and I was stretching it between my index and thumb, and I said THIS IS WHAT EWCM looks like babe. He laughed so hard he farted. )

I decided not to wash tonight immediately after like I usually do. I'm going to *attempt* to sleep with it in.

I prefer to DTD in the evening during the fertile days so I can sleep with it. The downside is that I wake up from it dripping, so I try not to sleep on my stomach. But hey, it's for a good cause!

Oh gosh, do I hear you! I've only done it a few times but when I do, I'm like wth, did I pee the bed?

The last time I did it I got a yeast infection but I think it was from washing my vag with antibacterial hand soaps. You would think I would know better by now but it was all I had at the moment. Lol.

Did you test again this morning?
I tested today and got a positive, just wanted to show you how it can go from snow white to crazy positive in 24 hours. Top was taken 2 days ago, middle yesterday evening, bottom just now.

Yeast infections can also be cause from hormones- which change like crazy during a cycle. I wouldn't worry it was from BD!

Whoa! That is amazing. I can't believe how quickly yours changed. I think I may need to start testing 2x a day from now on. One in the morning, one in the mid-evening.

Also, my CM seems to have dried up. It's like milky lotion.

Hi ladies i havn't hd much experience using opks get a little confused but last time i used thm gt my bfp so using again nw. Can't beleive hw thy go frm so light to blaring positive in a few hrs or a day! Mine r light at moment but only testing once a day. Any advice on what times to test & i think i'l start testing twice as hav loads. X

Hey there! :wave: In the beginning of us TTC I used to test 3-4 times a day. After about 13 months I started testing 2x a day, and now I am testing once a day, usually around 6PM-8PM.

I think I may start going back to testing 2x a day. Once in the afternoon and once in the evening.

I think you did, somewhere in between 15 and 16.
If your CM has dried up- you're past your surge.

Awesome! Nina, I thought I knew a bit about TTC but I am totally jelly of you! Lol. You are far more knowledgeable. I guess I really haven't paid attention to my CM much to know what it is trying to tell me.

So, DH came down with a cold or something and we missed a BD session tonight. I hope that wont affect anything?

Usually it's the days before the surge that are important. I got pregnant on a cylce that we didn't BD the day after the +opk, so really, anything is possible, you just need one little swimmer!
Lots of women say they get EWCM, but seriously I'm not sure HOW common it actually is. Watery is almost as good, it doesn't get enough credit!

Mom, I used to use them twice a day, afternoon and evening, now I just use them once, usually in the evening. But you should twice a day so you don't miss the surge. Some women have a longer surge than others, and by only testing once a day you could miss it.
Until you start to see a pattern, I'd test x2.

Nina, Nina! My watery CM came back tonight.. Random?!? It was completely dry and now it's back.

Side note : I'm super excited because CD 15 my follicles were measuring 14 x 8 mm / 10 x 8.5 mm, so I'm thinking they had time to grow?? Either that or they disappeared into the nothing?

Cd19 is a definite positive! Will you or did you get a chance to BD?! I got my positive today as well, after about 3 days of almost positive tests like yours....Hoping I O tomorrow *valentines day* I temp as well so I should know if a few days. You should take up temping just to confirm ovulation. GL to us both!

Yay to being in the TWW together! I really should start temping but I have insomnia, so I never wake up at the same time.

I took that test at about 4:15AM (it's 6:57 AM now), put some pre-seed in, and woke my hubby up to DTD. Lol. Technically, if I am right about the twinges on my right side I am getting I am O'ing, and today is Valentines Day!

Let's hope this is both of our cycles!

Edit : This is going to be a long cycle as my LP is 14 days. Lol.
