I think I am in denial

Well, I was able to keep it a secret. I told DH last night. He was totally shocked. Granted, it took him a little bit to warm up to the idea (and a conversation with my cat! ) and I know he still has worries (how we'll do for money, how we'll be as parents, how crazy the world can be, will our baby be healthy) but I think he'll be fine. I also think as soon as it becomes a little more real (I'm showing, it sinks in, we actually tell some family and friends) he'll be really excited. I think it's all normal reactions, and my DH has always been a worrier, but what he worries about works out in the end (the wedding, buying our house, buying the vehicles, etc). Granted, this is a little bigger than those, but they're all (mostly) life changing events - ok, the vehicles not so much, but they were big purchases.

How exciting! and a conversation with the cat i wonder what Kitty thinks of the whole idea! I think his thoughts and worries are normal, who wouldn't be thinking "how will we do it? will we be good parents?" The journey is just beginning though! Congrats to the both of you. May you have a happy and healthy 9 months and beyod!
