Ive had enough. Can't cope. I'm suffering with so much problems with my health and know I should focus on LO but part of me knows I was fine before and I can't help feeling I wish I could have a normal life. I'm in pain every day, worse now because dr rudely took me off any painkiller that worked claiming addiction.

Baby won't stop screaming, I'm dizzy and shaking from lack of sleep, headaches etc. he's so high needs and OH claims he needss 9 hrs sleep to function so gets grumpy if LO wakes him up.

Argghh just need to vent sorry guys xx

:hugs: Do you have any friends/family that could take LO for the day so you can get some rest?

:hugs: agree, you need a rest too! As for the pain, go back to the doctors and insist on something to help. :(

 Your OH INSISTS he needs nine hours of sleep to function? What about you? Did he honestly think having a baby would be all rainbows and sunshine!? KICK HIS ASS!

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Hang on in there. Hope you can get some help and that things get better.

Totally agree

Do you have another GP at your surgery that you can speak to ?. If not then ask to be referred to your local pain clinic or phone your consultant. My new GP refused to give me my codeine tablets for the same reason (i've been on them for 4 years due to chronic pancreatitis). She swiftly changed her mind after i phoned my consultant to complain :D. I should be on oramorph but i can't take it as it knocks me out :(.

Aw sweet : ( *hugs* How did your appointment on Monday go? Surely there must be other painkillers your doc can give you. I'd definitely go back and maybe speak to someone else x

My mother is a lifesaver but we live with her atm so she does help out alot more than any Nanny normally would which is why I feel so guilty! Plus we don't have a lot of room here so I can't really escape to a seperate room as such.. I'm trying to get kip when I can though :hugs:

Unfortunately that was like the fourth GP I've spoken to at the surgery and two women have already started being really firm and rude to me. I see a male GP on a slightly regular basis as he is the one who prescribed my antidepressants but even he doesn't really listen. I don't have a consultant sadly that I can speak to :( I wish I did! The Meddoc out of hours seem better than the actual GP I go to, but I can't treat them as my doctors. I've been messed around with medication so much recently I don't know what I can take anymore.

Haha, thats what I thought but she insisted I live on Paracetamol instead. Nice. My appointment on Monday with the mental health team?? I told the consultant what was going on with me and he thought although CBT might help me he's only referring me after my surgery in Feb because I have so much going on that might be affecting my mood in general right now (pain, physical problems etc) so I guess it'll be reviewed after.
GP appt was Tuesday and she was not at all happy with me, treated me like I was an idiot and said I had severe severe anxiety and that she didn't know what to do with me anymore. I mean, come on, I was complaining about SYMPTOMS not anything else! :(

Thanks for all your support you lovely ladies. I'm sorry I'm complaining so much recently :hugs: xxxxx

I thought you had an appointment on the 16th with someone about your bladder problems? Maybe I'm confusing you with another member of BnB. Sorry if thats the case! But for a doc to outright say they don't know what to do with you is unbelievable. Its good though that you're being referred for CBT even if you have to wait til after the surgery x

Ah, no, I do have bladder problems but it must be someone else. I wish I could see someone about them tho. A&E suggested I get referred to a urologist but my docs won't listen :(

Thanks though, hopefully I'll start recovering properly after surgery!
